Alphabeez Childcare Centre, located at 815 8 Ave SW Unit 200, Calgary, AB T2P 3P2, Canada, is committed to providing high-quality care for children in a safe, creative, and nurturing environment. Our philosophy is rooted in the belief that children learn best through play and exploration.

We create opportunities for children to engage with their environment and experience using a variety of materials while playing. Our goal is to stimulate the physical, emotional, social, creative, and intellectual growth of each child.

At Alphabeez, we recognize children as active learners who explore the world around them using their body, mind, and senses. We provide engaging environments and experiences that promote active, creative, and meaningful exploration, play, and inquiry.

Meals and snacks are provided, including morning snack, hot lunch, and afternoon snack. We prioritize nutritious options such as whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables, organic choices when available, and lean meats. We do not serve juice, but offer 2% milk and water.

During diaper changes, we view it as an opportunity for one-on-one interaction with your child. Our teachers engage children through singing, playing, and talking while following public health guidelines. Diaper change areas are regularly disinfected, and handwashing is practiced. Parents are responsible for providing diapers and wipes.

Nap time is provided, with each child having their own cot. Parents should provide a sheet and blanket for their child's bed, which is sent home every Friday for washing. Children who do not typically sleep during nap time are offered quiet activities.

Toilet training is approached with respect for each child's individual pace. Children are never forced to sit on the toilet or potty. We offer opportunities for sitting on the potty during diaper changes. Our weekly programs include various activities such as creative arts and crafts, dramatic play, music and movement, science activities, organic gardening, field trips or visitors (may require an additional fee), French classes, yoga and meditation, story time, and sensory exploration.

Parents should ensure their child brings a sheet and blanket for sleep time, two full changes of clothes, appropriate clothing for the season, indoor shoes, diapers, wipes, and any special diaper rash cream if needed.

Our daycare program is available for children aged 19 months to 5 years, Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. We are dedicated to providing a nurturing and enriching environment for children's development and growth.
