St. Thomas Children's Day Care Centre in St. Catharines, ON prioritizes the health, safety, and well-being of both children and staff. Our program offers a mix of indoor and outdoor play, rest time, and nutritious meals including two snacks and a hot lunch daily. While safety is our primary concern, we encourage children to take safe and reasonable risks to build risk competence. Our program is designed to promote and support children's physical and emotional development, including their curiosity, initiative, independence, self-regulation, communication skills, fine and gross motor skills, and healthy eating habits. Our intentional spaces filled with 'recycled loose parts', blocks, art materials, dramatic play props, books, and sensory experiences provide open-ended learning experiences for children aged 18 months to under 13 years old. We are open Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.
