FLUM Weekday Kids Child Care Center, an outreach of Forest Lake United Methodist Church since 1996, is dedicated to enriching children’s lives with God’s love by providing a nurturing Christian environment and developmentally appropriate learning activities. The center serves children aged 6 weeks to Pre-K 4/5, offering classes for Babies, Creepers, Tots, 2’s, 3’s, and Pre-K 4/5.

Operating year-round from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, FLUM Weekday Kids ensures a consistent and engaging experience for all children. The curriculum includes weekly themes, a daily schedule, and weekly chapel sessions for Preschool 3’s and 4’s, fostering both educational and spiritual growth.

The center maintains favorable staff-to-child ratios: Infants 1:4; Tots 1:5; Two’s 1:7; Preschool 1:8/9. The dedicated team comprises both full-time and part-time staff, with many holding advanced degrees and extensive experience in child care. All staff members undergo health, safety, and child development training to ensure the highest quality of care.

FLUM Weekday Kids is conveniently located at 1711 4th Ave, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401, providing easy access for families in the area. The center welcomes children and families of all races, creeds, faiths, and cultural backgrounds to participate in its programs.
