Welcome to The Imagination Tree, a Childcare and Before and After School Centre located in SE Calgary at 6712 Fisher St SE unit 100, Calgary, AB T2H 2A7, Canada.

At The Imagination Tree, we provide a play-based program in a family environment. Our focus is on ensuring the safety, security, well-being, and development of children through play, proper nutrition, exercise, respect, and kindness towards others. We believe in a holistic approach to support a child's mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical needs, tailored to their stage of development. We value the involvement and engagement of parents and guardians in building a strong family community.

Consistent routines and caregivers are essential for children's thriving. Our daily routines address their care needs and offer a balance of staff-directed and child-led activities, with ample uninterrupted time. Each room has posted routines to provide a clear understanding of how children can actively explore and develop their needs in a safe, secure, and predictable manner. We recognize that children learn best when they have the freedom to direct their play activities, regardless of their age.

Our outdoor play space incorporates elements of nature, such as trees, grass, rocks and pebbles, sand and water, and a planting garden. It also includes an area for gross motor activities.

We believe in allowing children to touch, manipulate, explore, and experiment with their environments, as it enables them to be co-constructors of their learning. Scaffolding new learning based on previously acquired skills fosters confidence and embraces the image of the child as strong and capable.

We offer various programs to cater to different age groups:

• Infant: Curious Caterpillars (12-19 Months)
• Toddler: Blissful Butterflies & Lucky Ladybugs (20-35 Months)
• Preschool: Busy Bees & Daring Dragonflies (3-6 Years)
• ECS: Kindergarten Dragonflies
• Before and After School: Public (Grades 1-6)
• Before and After School: Catholic (Grades 1-6)

Our operating hours are from 6:45 AM to 5:45 PM, Monday to Friday.
